Many people paint their boats initially in red oxide primer, but then don’t get round to putting on a top coat straight away. The result is rust coming through. Why not use Farm Oxide paint, available in Grey, Green or Red. This primer is not porous, so will not cause rust to appear. It is available for £10.50 per 750ml tin.
